Low Thyroid Problems

Are you experiencing low thyroid problems?
My sister was constantly in such a state of
fatigue from low thyroid that she could
barely function. She made an appointment with
her doctor and he ordered a blood test to help him
diagnose her problem. When the doctor got the
results he assured her that the blood test for her
thyroid and everything else was normal. Because
she had three young children he simply encouraged
her to get more rest. But she felt as though she needed to sleep for 24 hours straight.
In Fact That is Exactly What Happened! After she slept straight through for
24 hours, her husband insisted that they find a different doctor.
Natural Thyroid Medicine Changed My Sister’s Life! Fortunately, the new
doctor recognized her symptoms and prescribed a natural thyroid medication and
she could hardly believe the difference it made in her life. In a short time all her
symptoms (except her premature white hair) disappeared, including the fatigue.
Did you know that a low level of thyroid could make you fat even though you have
not changed your eating habits? Or it might make you cold when others around you
are very comfortable. Whenever I have suggested to a friend that they might have
a low thyroid problem, they usually are quick to tell me, “At my last physical, the
doctor said my thyroid was normal.” That is why I am sharing my sister’s story.
Are You Experiencing Any of the Following Low Thyroid Symptoms?
- Have you gained weight and are unable to lose the pounds in spite
of many unsuccessful attempts? - Are you losing hair or has your hair lost its shine and become
brittle or is it prematurely gray or even white? - Are you having frequent constipation problems?
- Have you been depressed with no apparent reason. All the above are on the
list of symptoms of low thyroid function.
So Why Would A Blood Test Show “Normal” if Your Symptoms Are Not?
The simple reason is that the normal thyroid hormone levels in the blood, do not
tell the whole story. The thyroid that is present in the blood may not be in the form
that can be used in the cells, so it is of no help for all the above conditions.
There is another test that is much more accurate than a blood test that may even
be done at home. It was developed many years ago by Dr.Broda Barnes who devoted
his life to studying the thyroid gland and it’s affect upon the heart.
HOW TO TAKE YOUR BASAL BODY TEMPERATURE…
- Plan to take the test first thing in the morning after you wake up, because it’s
important to measure temperature after you have had adequate rest. - Before going to sleep, if you are not using a digital thermometer shake down
a regular thermometer to below the 95-degree mark and place it by your bed. - Immediately upon waking, place the thermometer in your armpit (if using a
regular thermometer keep it there for a full 10). Hold your elbow close to
your side to keep the thermometer in place. - Read and record the temperature and date.
- Repeat the test for least three mornings (preferably at the same time of day).
- A reading between 97.6 and 98.2 degrees F is normal. Readings below 97.6
may indicate hypothyroidism.
As a result of his research, Dr. Barnes wrote the book, “Hypothyroidism: The
Unsuspected Illness“ which is still a classic on the subject and explains his easy
method of testing. If your doctor is convinced that your thyroid is under-active,
the most commonly prescribed remedy is a synthetic thyroid hormone that appears
to raise the amount of thyroid in your body.
However, Dr. Stephen Langer, a leading authority on the thyroid gland explains in
his book, “Solved The Riddle of Illness“, that only a natural product is able to
affect the amount in your cells. And thyroid is needed in your cells to regulate
all your bodily functions. This fake thyroid is expensive and really a waste of money.
However, there are natural products that will stimulate your thyroid gland to
produce more of your own thyroid naturally. I encourage you not to ignore your
symptoms.

medication, check out Thyroid-Assist.
